How to play

Each mystery pairs up a set of suspects with a place, a weapon, a time (and, on Hard, a motive). Every clue is true, and exactly one arrangement satisfies them all.

Marking the grid

Tap a cell once for ✕ (ruled out), twice for ● (confirmed), three times to clear it. When you place a ●, the rest of that row and column are crossed off automatically, so one deduction does the tidying for you.

Working it out

Read a clue, mark what it tells you, then tap the clue to cross it off. Cross-reference as you go — a fact about the weapon and the time often unlocks the suspect. If two clues point at the same row, you can usually place a ●.

Winning

Place a ● for every suspect against their place, weapon and time. Get them all right and the case closes.
